3 Inspirational Videos to Get You Back into Action

Inspirational videos

Throughout my journey as a wantrepreneur, I’ve had a number of times where staying inspired was tough.

I’ve made mistakes and I’ve had big let-downs… this year has been a ride on the “Rollercoaster of Emotions” and it’s only the beginning of March.

But this is typical.

Anytime you’re trying something new, you’re 100% guaranteed to not get it perfectly right.

Winston Churchill said:

“To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.

Life is an iterative process: Try something. Adapt. Repeat.

There are countless examples of entrepreneurs getting started with one idea and then pivoting to something different when they realized they’d made a mistake or had found a better option.

  • Flickr started as an online role-playing game called Game Neverending and then evolved into a photo sharing tool after finding that this one feature of the game was extremely popular.
  • William Wrigley Jr. only discovered the popularity of gum after first working as a soap and baking powder salesman.
  • Twitter started as Odeo, a network for podcast subscriptions, but when iTunes began taking over the niche the founders gave everyone two weeks to come up with new ideas, which unearthed the beginnings of Twitter.

None of these guys got it right the first time, so what are the odds you will?

You may have started your journey inspired, full of energy and passion, and that’s great. But if you’re doing something hard (as you should), then that determination will be tested.

Again, and again, and again…

It’s OK. What do we do when we fall down? We (watch inspiring videos and then) get back up.

And with that I give you…

Make it Count

Where the Hell is Matt?

I keep a bookmark folder in my browser called “Inspiring” where I save every inspiring, awesome, game changing video I’ve ever come across.

If you’re pushing your limits, trying new things, and operating outside of your comfort zone, it’s good to have something in your back pocket you can whip out when you inevitably get fatigued.

I hope these inspirational videos find their way into your back pocket. And I hope that if you started this post feeling worn out and defeated, you’re not anymore.

How do you stay inspired when the going gets tough?
